The processing of data on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the legal notice (Impressum) of this website.

How do we collect your data?
Some of your data is collected when you provide it to us. This may include, for example, data you enter into a contact form.

Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This primarily includes technical data (e.g., web browser, operating system, or the time of page access). This data collection occurs automatically as soon as you access our website.

What do we use your data for?
Some of the data is collected to ensure the website is provided without errors. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour.

What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to obtain free information about the origin, recipients, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction, blocking, or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as for any further questions regarding data protection, you can contact us at the address provided in the Impressum. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

In addition, under certain circumstances, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. For details, please refer to the privacy policy section titled “Right to Restriction of Processing.”

2. General Information and Mandatory Disclosures
Data Protection

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations as well as this privacy policy.

When you use this website, various personal data are collected. Personal data are data that can be used to personally identify you. This privacy policy explains which data we collect and how we use it. It also explains how and for what purpose this data is processed.

Please note that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., when communicating by email) can have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Notice Regarding the Responsible Party

The responsible party for data processing on this website is:

WFS Wurst-Fleischwaren-Service Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH
Managing Director: Helge Klein
Nordendstraße 9
64546 Mörfelden-Walldorf

Phone: 06105 / 9611-0
Email: info@wfs.de

The responsible party is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g., names, email addresses, or similar).

Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke consent you have previously given at any time. A simple email to us is sufficient for this purpose. The legality of the data processing carried out prior to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to Object to Data Collection in Specific Cases and to Direct Marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)

If data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The specific legal basis on which the processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process your affected personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or if the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims (objection under Art. 21(1) GDPR).

If your personal data is processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for such marketing purposes; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will no longer be used for direct marketing purposes (objection under Art. 21(2) GDPR).

Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, particularly in the member state of their habitual residence, workplace, or the location of the alleged infringement. This right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time using the address provided in the Impressum. The right to restrict processing applies in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored with us, we usually need time to verify this. During the verification period, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

  • If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you may request the restriction of processing instead of its deletion.

  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you require it to exercise, defend, or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of processing instead of deletion.

  • If you have lodged an objection under Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, these data may only be processed – aside from storage – with your consent, for the assertion, exercise, or defence of legal claims, to protect the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.

SSL or TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries you send to us as the website operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the change in the browser’s address bar from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser.

When SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Access, Blocking, Deletion, and Correction

Within the framework of applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing, as well as, where applicable, the right to correct, block, or delete this data. For this purpose, and for any further questions regarding personal data, you may contact us at any time using the address provided in the Impressum.

Right to Restrict Processing

You have the right to receive data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in the performance of a contract, either to yourself or to a third party, in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be carried out to the extent technically feasible.

3. Data Collection on Our Website
Cookies

The website partially uses so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device and do not contain viruses. They serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” These are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

You can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and to allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and to activate automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Cookies that are necessary for the execution of the electronic communication process or for providing certain functions you request (e.g., shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Other cookies (e.g., cookies used to analyse your browsing behaviour) are treated separately in this privacy policy.

Server Log Files

The provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These include:

  • Browser type and browser version

  • Operating system used

  • Referrer URL

  • Hostname of the accessing computer

  • Time of the server request

  • IP address

No merging of these data with other data sources takes place.

The collection of these data is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of the website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.

Contact Form

If you submit inquiries to us via the contact form, the information you provide in the form, including the contact details you enter, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. This data will not be shared without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore carried out solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. A simple notification by email to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the point of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for which the data is stored no longer applies (e.g., after your inquiry has been fully processed). Mandatory legal provisions—especially retention periods—remain unaffected.

4. Newsletter
Newsletter Data

To receive the newsletter offered on our website, we require your email address and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the provided email address and consent to receive the newsletter. No additional data is collected, except on a voluntary basis. These data are used exclusively for sending the requested information and are not shared with third parties.

The processing of data entered in the newsletter subscription form is based solely on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You may revoke your consent to store your data, including your email address and its use for sending the newsletter, at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of data processing conducted prior to the revocation remains unaffected.

The data you provide for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored until you unsubscribe and will be deleted after unsubscribing. Data stored for other purposes remain unaffected.

5. Plugins and Tools
Google Web Fonts

This website uses so-called web fonts provided by Google to ensure a uniform display of fonts. When you access a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you are using must establish a connection to Google’s servers. This allows Google to become aware that our website was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is carried out in the interest of a consistent and attractive presentation of our online offerings. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

Further information about Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
